Our Vision of a Healing Chapel

Cong. Bene Shalom has undertaken the task of expanding our current synagogue to create a new Healing Chapel, which will provide a serene, contemplative environment suitable for meditation and Healing Prayer. In the chapel, Healing Prayer Services for the community will be held on alternating Wednesday evenings, as well as private prayer sessions with Rabbi Doctor Goldhamer or his assistants. In addition, special meditation services and Kabbalistic Healing Classes, based on the principles of Rabbi Doctor Goldhamer’s books, This is for Everyone and The Healing Chapel, will be offered regularly in the chapel.

According to Rabbi Doctor Goldhamer, "I want this chapel to be a ‘people’s place," a place where you and I and our children can come and meet God any time of the day. It will not be a fancy, imposing space, but a warm, quiet place, filled with God and His healing energy. It will be a chapel where Jew and Christian, deaf and hearing, black and white, can come and just spend time with God. It will be a place where people will feel comfortable just sitting and talking with the Lord our God. By experiencing God’s presence through prayer and meditation, they receive God’s healing power."

Our 20th Century "Healthcare System" is going through a much needed transformation.  The ancient ideas and teachings of vitalism are being rediscovered and intertwined with modern healthcare to reveal the true healing power within each of us.  Leading this healing transformation is Rabbi/Dr. Goldhamer.   As a physician, I have seen few healers as talented and gifted as Rabbi/Dr. Goldhamer.
